Cornerstone Insurance Brokers Ltd. Purchases Armstrong Insurance Brokers Ltd.
Woodbridge, ON August 8, 2012. Cornerstone Insurance Brokers Ltd, is pleased to announce the purchase of Barrie-based Armstrong Insurance Brokers Ltd.
The transaction, which closed end of business day on July 31, 2011, brings together two exceptional brokerages. “We share a common vision for delivering consistent, personalized service to our clients. I know that the Armstrong brokerage – our clients and our staff alike – will be in great hands with Cornerstone,” commented Todd Armstrong, President of Armstrong.
The Barrie brokerage located on Cedar Pointe Drive will complement Cornerstone’s existing location on Weston Road, Woodbridge. Wendy DaSilva, CEO of Cornerstone added, “We are delighted with the acquisition, as Armstrong is an excellent fit for Cornerstone. We are looking to expand our foot print in the marketplace and this acquisition positions us well in a thriving community.”
