We at Cornerstone Insurance Brokers Limited have always been committed to disclosing compensation to ensure transparency in our service to you.
As your Independent Insurance Broker, we purchase insurance products and services on your behalf that are available from numerous insurance companies. Our role is to provide you with the best insurance value that combines coverage, service and price.
We also provide personalized, quality service that includes professional insurance advice, ongoing policy maintenance, and claims support. When any issue arises regarding your insurance coverage, we are your advocates, using professional experience to best represent your individual interest.
Brokerage compensation is part of your insurance premium. For your benefit, below is a list of insurers that we represent and the range of commission that each insurer provides as a percentage of your overall premium. Should there be an increase in the commission schedule we receive from your insurer or any other material change that affects compensation arrangements, we will notify you as well as post the change on this page.
In addition, a fee may be negotiated for placement of insurance and the rendering of additional services. Any fees charged will be outlined in our proposal and approved by you.
Cornerstone Insurance Brokers Limited maintains strong relationships with quality insurers to best serve your needs. The insurers with an asterisk recognize our efforts through a Contingent Profit Commission contract. Payment of this Contingent Profit Commission depends on a combination of profitability (earned loss ratio), and /or growth (usually over a number of years) and/or increased services that we provide on behalf of the insurer. Profit sharing is not applicable on an individual account and is not guaranteed – it is contingent on the performance of the entire portfolio over a period of time.
